About this notice
This notice covers the Notary Zhou website at notaryzhou.com, operated by George (Guojin) Zhou. We provide mobile notary services by appointment. We do not publish a residential office address or offer a walk-in office.
Website visits and notary lookups
Your browser sends technical information, such as an IP address, requested URL, and browser details, to our hosting provider to load the website. This information may appear in infrastructure logs used to operate and secure the service.
When you search for a notary, the name or commission number you enter is sent to our server to find matching public records. Search terms may appear in request URLs and related infrastructure logs. We do not add lookup inputs to our Google Analytics events.
The directory republishes selected fields from the California Secretary of State's public notary listing, including names, commission details, and listed cities and counties. We omit street addresses. To report a problem with a page, use its correction link or contact us below; changes to the official source must be handled with the Secretary of State.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit and whether they click the business email links on our homepages. Analytics uses cookies, including cookies with names beginning with _ga, to distinguish browsers and visits. Google receives technical and usage information such as browser and device details, page titles, page URLs, and visit and engagement events.
We remove query strings and URL fragments from the page and referrer URLs supplied to Analytics. A profile page's title and URL can identify the public notary record viewed. An email-contact click records the contact method and whether the link was in the introduction or appointment section; it does not mean an email was sent or an appointment was booked. We do not include email addresses, message contents, or document contents in these events.
Our Analytics configuration disables Google signals and advertising personalization signals. Enhanced measurement is off; we have not enabled automatic form or site-search tracking. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Email inquiries
If you email us, your email provider and ours process your address, message, and any attachments so we can receive and respond to your inquiry and arrange services. Please send only what is needed for your question; do not include identity-document scans or sensitive documents in an initial inquiry. This website notice does not replace the separate recordkeeping requirements that apply when a notarization takes place.
Fonts, maps, and external links
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Some directory pages embed OpenStreetMap city maps; other links open Google Maps. These providers can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when their resources load or you follow a link. See Google Fonts privacy information and the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy. External sites apply their own privacy practices.
Your choices and contacting us
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on in supported browsers. Blocking Analytics does not prevent you from reading pages or searching the notary directory. These controls do not remove ordinary hosting requests or information you email to us.
For questions about this notice, website information, or a privacy request, email hi@notaryzhou.com. We may need enough information to identify the relevant record or request. If our website practices change, we will update this notice and its date.
